A few simple checks can help you spot scams and protect your information.
Keep conversations on Landabazaar
Use marketplace messages so there is a record of what was agreed. Be cautious if someone quickly asks you to move to another app.
Never share passwords or verification codes
Landabazaar staff and other users should never need your password or one-time sign-in code. Do not open unexpected payment or delivery links.
Check an item before paying
Read the full description, inspect photographs and ask the seller questions about faults, authenticity, condition and included accessories.
Use the checkout shown on the listing
Do not transfer money to a personal bank account or pay through a link sent in a message. Only regard an order as paid when Landabazaar shows the confirmed payment status.
Make collection arrangements safely
Meet in a busy public place during daylight where possible. Consider taking someone with you and do not invite strangers into your home.
Protect your personal information
Share only the information needed to complete a transaction. Avoid publishing your full home address, identity documents or financial details in a listing or message.
Report suspicious behaviour
Use the report controls on a listing or seller if you see suspected fraud, prohibited items, harassment or misleading content. For immediate danger, contact the emergency services.
